I'm straight, but 2 gay or lesbian people marrying has no more or less effect on me than 2 heterosexual people marrying! Same-sex marriage (or 'civil partnerships') have only been legal in the UK for 2 and a half years, but I was surprised that only 2 US states have made it legal. As an off topic note, I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to leave thanks for the BrightKite plugin! It means a lot to get feedback from users.
