Texas, here I come!

Well, I’m about to head off. I’m picking up my Grandmother and then she and I are flying down to Lampasas, Texas for almost a week.

I have family down there, and my cousin is graduating. I’ve never been to Texas (therefore I only see them when they come up to visit) so I figured this would be a nice time to go see them on their own turf.

This is my mother’s sister, her husband, and their kids (just in case you were wondering how it fit on the family tree ;)). My mom and dad are already down there. They left last week and spent three days driving down there (pulling something like 18 hours on the road each day… crazy, but they made it!). Luckily for my grandma and me there is an ex-military airport near where they live so we can avoid the horrors of big city traffic. Thank God for small favors, eh?

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing the family and getting to experience their home for the first time. I’m sure my cousins are going to show me a good time I hear a rumor that there’s a movie theater not too far from their home! JOY!
