My birthday was last week… and i decided that i was going to do something for myself as a birthday present. Well, okay, not just ONE thing… i did actually buy a few CDs (Fall Out Boy, if you MUST know).

No.. i mean i decided to do something potentially life changing for my birthday. Note that qualifier in there: POTENTIALLY. I applied and interviewed for a new job.

How long has it been since i’ve done that?? Sheesh… a gazillion years, at LEAST. My friends Summer and Melissa spent nearly all last week prepping me for my interview. I think it went well… but i wont know for sure until .. well .. i’m not sure when i’ll be sure heh. I guess its just one of those “wait and see” things. Its an internal job, not like i’m moving to a new company or anything, so I’ll know when they hire someone.

Does that change the rules though? Should i still send a “thanks for the interview” fruit basket???
