[sigh] I’m pretty upset about what’s happened. It seems that a number of students have complained about the ‘Intro to C++’ class (which is the class i was scheduled to take October 2006). From what i’ve been told, people said that the class was too ‘hard’ or something [roll eyes] … whatever.

The administration, in their (precieved) wisdom, have changed the program i’m in to reflect the new curriculum. Instead of having the C++ class in October of 2006, we now will be taking ‘INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY’ [grumble]

Needless to say, i’m just a little upset about this. It’s not that i think that ‘IS Security’ isn’t an appropriate class to take, i just object to the elimination of the C++ class. I really, really like programming in C++ [sniffle] I’ll miss you, ‘C++ Class that Wasn’t.’

Ode to C++
To code in C++ is really great.
Sometimes i think that it’s me best mate.
But, alas, it is gone.
Thrown out on the lawn.
And left to suffer some ill fate.
